About

lana robison webBartlett, TN on-location and studio photographer, Lana Robison, specializes in family and children portraiture, but also photographs seniors and maternity.

I have a passion to create and I love creating one of a kind wall art that captures a special moment in time. You know that moment between moments…that certain look, a sly little smile, a twinkle in the eye that’s there and then gone in a flash!

Time doesn’t stand still. Babies turn into toddlers, children become teens, and graduations are just around the corner. Those moments that bring us abundant joy now, soon become memories. I want to help you stop time – if only for an instant – and capture the personality and heart of your family that will be cherished and remembered for generations.

I’m a photographer and graphic designer near Memphis TN. Yes, Memphis… rock ‘n roll, home of the blues, and all things Elvis!

Want to know about me? I’m a wife, a mother, a grandmother, an artist and a Christ Follower. I’ve lived in the South all my life, except for the 5 years my family lived in Kansas when I was young – which doesn’t count because Memphis was always “home”!

I used to follow the southern tradition not to wear white before Easter or after Labor Day, but now I love to break the rules!! If it’s a challenge, I take it…if it sounds fun, I’m in…if it’s a dare, I think about it first! My friends say I’m kind, sweet, and compassionate, yet persistent, diligent, and strive for the best in everything I do!

I’ve played with crayons and paints and paper since I was young, and now I use a camera and a computer. I studied graphic design at State Technical Institute (which has changed names), took every continuing education course I could on art and design, and learned the basics of oil painting from Paul Penczner. I continue to study and learn, savoring all the new techniques and striving to improve my skills as an artist, graphic designer, and photographer.
